Terry is the group's Founder and Chairman and has been in the real estate business for 34 years. With interest in all sectors, Terry has built up an extensive investment portfolio which includes residential, leisure, industrial and office use. Terry has completed several developments over the years, including a sole detached residential real estate, a 14-unit residential apartment block, a 44,000 sqft business centre and a 488-bed student scheme. He also owns development sites of various sizes currently at different stages of the planning process, ranging from a single dwelling to a 231-unit residential project.
Ascot Finance Director
Howard, our Group Finance Director, is a highly skilled chartered accountant with over 35 years of experience in finance. He brings a wealth of expertise and is a trusted hand in moving our projects forward. He has been involved in various development projects from Gibraltar to Burscough and even established and sold a successful real estate management company. With his extensive experience in deal origination and negotiation, Howard is uniquely qualified to provide oversight and governance as we move into the project's development stages. He ensures budgets are costed and managed correctly, drawing on his vast knowledge to make informed decisions.
Ascot Office Manager
Jamie Swan is the Ascot Office Manager. He has a background in international banking, corporate asset finance and SME real-estate sector. Jamie brings a wealth of expertise to the team with a proven track record of conducting viability assessments, managing complex processes, structuring deals and solving problems efficiently. Due to his background in banking, Jamie has excellent attention to detail, enabling him to assess the risks and technical aspects of any deal or process. He works closely with the chairman and supports all other group parts to ensure smooth operations.
Ascot Development Director
Nicholas is a professionally qualified engineer who has worked as a Land & Development Director in the real estate sector in the North West for over 30 years. Before joining Ascot Developments, he owned 50% of Property Capital Plc, a company responsible for delivering major projects. Among them was the mixed-use planning permission of a 134-acre brownfield site, formerly the Leyland Test Track site in Leyland, Lancashire. This development comprises over 800 houses, including 200 affordable units, 15 acres of employment land, three acres of PFS, and associated retail. Nicholas and their development partner BDW Trading managed the site's delivery and remediation. Throughout his career, Nicholas has been involved in several substantial developments and delivered several thousand newly constructed homes throughout the North West.
